Carolina Maria de Jesus vive em nós: Reflexos e reflexões dos 10 anos de cotas da Unilab-CE

The essay aims to contribute to the reflections about the ten years of quotas and their multiple developments at the Universidade da Integração Internacional da Lusofonia Afro-Brasileira Lusophony. Such dialogues are based on the productions (film, poetry, articles and conversation circle) of the authors influenced by Carolina Maria de Jesus and her way of using writing as a way to denounce the various famines to which she was submitted. The debates about the importance of quotas, developments, challenges and perspectives in higher education are latent in the daily life of Unilabian students, in particular, in the daily life of the authors who work in several fronts such as: Black Movement, Quilombola Movement and in the study and research groups to which they belong. Thus, we, Carolinas, also use our writing-denunciations as a form of struggle and resistance to confront and combat inequalities, fed by the operating mode of epistemicide in our lives.
