This article tries to show how theatricality, in Roland Barthes, was a device he used throughout his production to stage himself and build his figure as an intellectual and writer, as well as to rehearse a new relationship with literature and criticism, more and more scenic, from the last years of its production, especially in the course The preparation of the novel. There, the desire for writing, named by Barthes as “Vouloir-Écrire », becomes spatial and brings with it scenic and romanesque powers. The classroom for The preparation of the novel is then the stage where part of the Barthesian production converges, but it is not resolved.Downloads
