This article aims to present a reflection on the category of pose in the work of the Argentine writer and literary critic Sylvia Molloy, considering its modulations in different texts, whether of literary creation or of literary criticism and theory. I argue that there are three zones of the pose in her work: on the one hand, the pose as a significant gesture, especially in her literary texts; also, the idea of the politics of the pose, which structures a look that tensions the crossings between literature and the fields of dissident sexualities and gender; and, finally, the epistemology of the pose, as an interpretative leap to understand the process of elaborating the pose as problematization, as a differentiated gesture and object of knowledge reflection. I also try to point out some parallels with other theories, particularly with readings of French post-structuralism and with a certain area of philosophy and criticism that was constituted at the time (and in some cases came to be read later) as queer.
