Abstract

One day, the writer Irma Galhardo decided to open the hugs and books for the children of Tocantins. And he left the four corners of the state listening to stories and then recording them. In his books, the clay doll of Bananal Island, the Mother Moon Bird, the Water Deal, the Pai da Mata, the enchanted pirarucu, the Buiúna and a series of other characters and aspects - including historical - known to locals. But none of this was still recorded in books, specifically children's books, and the challenge was absolutely necessary and charming.
