The medical interview is the main route to obtaining information to adequately treat a patient. In the urgency setting, the psychiatric evaluation is commonly performed by a non-specialist physician. Therefore, a structured interview to guide the evaluation and determine the appropriate course of treatment is essential for all physicians.
