Exposição fetal ao álcool por meio dos biomarcadores ésteres etílicos de ácidos graxos em mecônio

Objetivo: identificar as evidências, na literatura, sobre
métodos que quantifiquem os biomarcadores da exposição
fetal ao álcool presentes na matriz biológica mecônio: ésteres
etílicos de ácidos graxos (FAEEs). Metodologia: busca
realizada em três bases de dados utilizando as expressões fixas
“fatty acid ethylester AND meconium”. Foram selecionados
artigos publicados até julho de 2018 que tinham como
participantes gestantes que fizeram ou não o uso de álcool
e que tiveram amostras de mecônio coletadas de seus recémnascidos.
Resultados: dentre as 201 referências encontradas,
27 artigos preencheram os critérios de inclusão. Os dados
extraídos dos artigos selecionados foram método de ensaio
(análise), método de extração, biomarcadores analisados,
ponto de corte (cut-off), padrão interno e quantidade de
mecônio utilizados. Conclusão: dentro da variabilidade dos
biomarcadores FAEEs, linoleato de etila, palmitato de etila,
estearato de etila e oleato de etila foram os mais prevalentes
e em maiores concentrações. A somatória de FAEEs é mais
adequada e confiável do que a análise individual.
