Abstract

This qualitative and descriptive study presents the mental health and the community-based rehabilitation fields, guided by care projects and practices. The study aimed to evidence the importance of the territorial practices in psychosocial rehabilitation care in a mental health service. The results show that the territorial activities are developed collectively. They consider the desires, skills, needs and life projects of the participants. The territorial practices enable the coexistence and the production of daily meanings, as well as recreate new strengths in mental health care.
