Abstract

The present work proposes the analysis of migrant narratives articulated with the politics of representation of Brazilian favelas. We look at Brazilian audiovisual production starting in the 90's untill 2010, period of comercial recovery of the national movie production. More especifically, we present an analysis on the following productions: Notícias de uma guerra particular, Palace II, Cidade de Deus, Cidade dos homens (série) Cidade dos homens (film), trying to unfold their discoursive perspectives on the favelas and mainly which society future they entail.
