Abstract

The objective of this article is to raise potential fundamental issues for the analysis of the ontology and aesthetics of digital image. The reflection presented here focuses on a paradox. Computational science and the binary language are the creators of a virtual reality with digital images as part of an immaterial space. However, with the proliferation of digital cameras available in various hardware devices, there is an increase in the number of anonymously captured videos that are assumed truthful and real providing a precise factual prove of reality.
