Abstract

The present paper does a reflection about the journalistic production process the reporting book and the knowledge in the field of journalism. It discusses the interfaces with genres like interpretative, investigative, and literary and develops own specificities to be a specific support with differentiated structure and language. In this sense, the booking report is more than an “extension of the reportage”. The methods adopted are bibliographical research and a propositive reflection. The discussion aims to contribute to the studies of journalism and reporting book as well as for the production this kind of book that is growing in the academy and in the publishing market.
