ESTUDO DO COMPORTAMENTO DE ALGUNS FILMES FOTOGRAFICOS, REVELADOS E NÃO REVELADOS, NA EVIDENCIAÇÃO RAPIDA DA GELATINASE BACTERIANA

Abstract

The present paper refers to bacterial gelatinase tests. Rapid and slow liquefying bacteria were used as well as non-liquefying species. Tests were run on photographic films, developed and undeveloped. Brands used were . Agfa Isochron Pan Gevaert Gevapan 30, Gevaert and TRI -X Pan Kodak microfilms, 30 x 40 em Kodak Medical X-ray and Kodak Dental X-ray films. Culture media used were peptone water and Martin's infusion broth. Inoculation methods were both conventional and massive, where peptone water were concerned and only conventional regarding· Martin's in fusion broth. Incubation was carried out at 37ºC for 96 hours. Specific results were obtained with developed Kodak TRI -X Pan microfi1m whcn peptone water cultures were used. It would seem that the use of massively inoculated cultures in peptone.
