Abstract

This article proposes a quick overview of the democratization process en Africa, seeking to understand the inner variables of its concretization, in a world context where representative democracy is a main value. The difficulties seen during the Africa’s transition process will be considered in its political, economic, cultural and social dimensions. The dynamics and the dialects between the endogenous and exogenous relations of the African continent, as well as its deep economic and financial dependence, can explain the recent continent’s situation and can determine its perspectives to the future. The setbacks suffered by some countrys during its path to the implematation of  a democratic sistem, reveals the net work of economic, political and ethnical relationships that make the African political reality and limit the  implementation of public policies and the plural political praxis.
