The purpose of the following research is to study the debate between two periodicals published during Iberian America political independence proccess: Correio Braziliense and Correo del Orinoco. Occurred between 1817 and 1820, this dialogue had as central point the events that occurred in Pernambuco in 1817, leading us to the idea of "Revolution" as the key concept to understand that conjuncture, mainly through the perspective of the influence and mutual interaction between Brazil and Venezuela.Downloads
