Describe so as not to Explain: the Founding Role of Anamorfas for Research in Visual Poetics

Through the analysis of its positioning and its insertion strategies at the University, this article puts in perspective the founding role of the master’s work Anamorfas, by Prof. Dr. Regina Silveira, in relation to research in Visual Poetics at ECA-USP as a grounding methodological reference for the postgraduate program in Visual Arts and its subsequent development, as well as for problematizing the forms of archive and circulation of academic production.
