This article is the result of a literature survey conducted by the EmílioGoeldi Museum (MPEG) and funded by the National Counsel of Technologicaland Scientific Development (CNPq). The focus was given to the study of theconcept ofribeirinidadeas a category of livelihood in the cultural analysis of theriparian groups of the Amazon. The research expounded on the analysis of thisconcept taking as a basis for analysis the identification, reflection and analysis ofsome of the elements that correspond to the cultural expression of the ripariangroups inhabiting the Amazon region.Downloads
