The Baby of Mâcon (1993), a film by Peter Greenaway is studied in this work which aims at investigating the process of meaning building up from the detection of a biased architecture of the enonce with a transgressive enunciator who redimensions the material of the cinematographic code in the name of his poetics. To frame the story full of sacred and profane elements, the joining of expressive particular features os the theatre and painting were used through filmic components. The result of this combination is a work that rethinks the possibilities of textual construction in the horizon of the cinema.Downloads
