This paper is based upon a Doctor thesis and deals with the need to discuss the return of geometry and design to the basic education level using the concept of transdisiciplinarity. Geometry is a kind of mathematics graphic representation connected to several matters of a school curriculum, as well asdesign. The transdisciplinary approach, in turn, aims at the comprehension of knowledge as a whole, escaping from the traditional approach that fragmentizes it. So, its necessary that schools and teachers actualize their way of thinking and approach geometry and design.
