Rotas culturais e territórios: a criação de um itinerário turístico de interesse cultural das ruínas da Vila de Santo Antônio de Sá em Itaboraí

Abstract

The relationship between heritage and territory provides debate about a series of values and sets that encompass a society. Taking this reception as a basis, this article aims to investigate the potential of cultural routes applied to the Ruins of the Convent of São Boaventura and the Ruins of the Main Church of Vila de Santo Antônio de Sá, which are located on private property belonging to the company Petrobrás. The emploied methodology consists of a qualitative case study, complemented by bibliographical research. The intended result of the research being developed is to create a cultural tourist itinerary that presents and interprets the remains of the old Vila de Santo Antônio de Sá and its importance for local history.
