Abstract

Through the analysis of the novel Shum Gamadim Lô Yavô’u, this work aims to examine the mishaps and biases of the insertion of Moroccan-Jewish immigrants in the Israeli society, as well as the impact this peculiar novel may cause in debates on literature, its feature and function to Judaism as a whole, and for the Israeli society in particular.
