Biografia do Autor

  • Nahuel Videla, Universidad de Buenos Aires

    Nahuel Videla is a Sworn Translator in English graduated from the Universidad de Buenos Aires in 2013. He participated in the Literature Ireland Summer Translation Workshops for Spanish Translators of Irish Literature in 2022. He is currently a student of the Specialization Course in Literary Translation at the Facultad de Filosofía y Letras of the Universidad de Buenos Aires. He is a research assistant in the “Dialogues in Contemporary Irish Literature” research project based at the Universidad Nacional de La Pampa (Argentina), which explores the relationship between history, memory and trauma in the literary and cultural production of a selection of contemporary Irish writers as well as that resulting from the Irish Diaspora to Argentina. In it, he has translated two short stories by Mary O’Donnell (still in editing, along with others into Spanish), one of which is presented here.
