Abstract

The concept of interactivity has been widely used as a premise for the institutional structuring of museums, becoming commonly introduced into museological space in recent decades. Interactive museography often appears as an alternative for presentation of collections formed from digital databases, actively participating in the constitution of museums regarded as a reference center, and in the creation of museum narratives. The article intends to analyze the interactivity understood as a dialogue among museography, museology, and architecture, investigating its relation with the conception and reception of the contemporary exhibition space. For this purpose, the article is focused on analyzing the Brazilian context from the selected reference cases: Football Museum (São Paulo, 2008) and Museum of Tomorrow (Rio de Janeiro, 2015). Based on the proposed analysis, we intend to deepen the understanding of interactive museography consolidation in Brazil, by verifying its implications for the museum architectural project.
