Abstract

We present a qualitative research about an evaluation of professional education and acquisition of knowledge, developed with professionals and students of Psychology who attended a Multifamiliar Group with sexual offender adolescents and their families. The subjects were: 6 professionals of Psychology, students of Psychology, two professionals of the Social Service. The instrument: an open questionnaire sent by electronic mail. The discussion of the results was made through analysis of content. Three axles were construed: acquisition of new knowledge and professional education; particularities in training to attend sexual violence perpetrators and specific needs of students and professionals. The subjects confirmed the importance of participating in practical experiences and also of the need of deepening theoretical basis on the matter. They realized the importance of training in techniques of attending groups of adolescents. We need to enlarge and understand better the qualification of professionals to attend this kind of client.
