Estrutura da produção e modernização da agricultura paulista

Abstract

The present work shows an analysis ofthe modernization process in paulista agriculture. Information of Agropecuary Census of 1985 are utilized to 43 homogenous microregions in Sao Paulo State. Through factorial analyses by main components method factors are extracted that translate the intensity of land exploration, the intensity oflabor and capital relations, and the human capital. The results allow the discussion and visibility of human capital importance for modernization process, as well as a discussion ofresults between determined microregions with and without the factor that reflects human capital.
