Corrupção: aspectos econômicos e institucionais

Abstract

The objective of the present work is to contribute for the study ofthe malicious effects of the corruption on the economical variables, mainly in what it concerns to the investments. We presented the main theories that analyze the corruption, the forms of measurement of your economical impacts, and your institutional aspects: the public budget, the privatization and the financing of electoral campaigns. Besides, we analyzed the institutions that have as main mission the control of the public expenses. Finally, we tried to show the amount of public resources subject to the risk ofthe corruption and, consequently, we evaluated the size of the potential corruption in Brazil.
