The article proposes an analysis of the song "Vide Verso Meu Endereço", by the composer born in São Paulo, Adoniran Barbosa, from the parameters established by the semiotics of song founded by Luiz Tatit and based on theoretical contributions of Greimasian semiotics French line. The song is divided into interdependent parts, and the analysis seeks to describe the relationship of each of these parties with the narrative and melodic solution programs offered by the composer. In the context of the lyrics of the song taken in isolation, the focus falls on the feeling of gratitude of a worker in relation to a man who helps him financially. This gratitude, while feeling connected to the recognition of the contribution of a subject for the narrative of the program subject-enunciator, is the result of a series of events involving the latter, and it is embodied in the action form of communication, as a token of our appreciation. In the context of the melody of the lyrics, there is a strong tendency towards figurativization on the model of integration between melody and lyrics, with melodic lines that favor the submission characteristics of the tonemes of everyday speech. The analysis also refers to the use of oral and written forms of the language in the composition, which benefits from the presence of two distinct genres of communication, bilhete and samba, as references in the act of enunciation themed by the song.
