Abstract

A symbolic passage is necessary to a newborn submitted to intensive care become a baby. This passage is the object of our intervention in early stimulation. The newborn patient in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is in a risk situation, not only organic risk, but also related to his development and subject constitution. In this article we approach the early stimulation in ICU and its peculiarities.
