Abstract

This article intends to broaching the autism and the infantile psychoses as clinical profiles such as psychic structures where there is an impasse within the communication with the Other. The knowledge of the constitution of the subject in psychoanalysis is the mainframe of the theoretical-clinicaI discussion. To illustrate the institutional intervention with autistic and psychotic children, there will be presented the theoretical fundaments of the Pré-Escola Terapêutica Lugar de Vida, besides clinical fragments of an specific case (with a psychosis hypothetical diagnosis) attended at this institution.
