Project leaders of the project funded by the International Fund for Cultural Diversity share their impressions on the 13th Session of the Intergovernmental Committee of the Convention on Cultural Diversity

Researchers who form a collective dedicated to research and training in the cultural field and who are part of a cultural study group at the Development Center of the Brazilian Center of Analysis and Planning, in São Paulo, talk in this interview about the “Strengthening Cultural Networks” project, which they developed in 2018 and 2019 with resources from UNESCO’s International Fund for Cultural Diversity aiming at strengthening networks and discussions between civil society actors and local governments to strengthen cultural production chains. They presented the results of their work to the Intergovernmental Committee of the Convention on Cultural Diversity, which met in Paris in February 2020, and commented on the main themes addressed at the meeting.
