Abstract

The digital file sharing of music has a communicational nature via cyberspace trough contemporary context, possible due to Information And Communication Technology (ICT), appears to be restrict and assigned for specific social statuses in Latin America, when the cybernetic access issues are mostly linked to economic matters, which results in low quality connections with a higher cost. According to Gerd Leonhard’s (2008) hypothesis, the causes that may prohibit the cultural contents socialization: when a cultural material is personally shared, without commercial intentions can become misconceived (as an unfair business practice versus the mainstream cultural commerce) by sanctioning markets in benefit of the countries that concentrate the most of world’s cultural productions. The priority to democratization of those products can lead to reflect the cyberspace’s reality: empower the creators for their publishing, having the personal sociali-zation, thus the file sharing without commercial intentions, “when the consoling factor is that these changes are fleeting and inevitable”.
