Abstract

Photography has undergone several technological transformations since its beginning  in 1839, to become one of the most widespread technologies, accessible from smartphones and other widely used devices. The book by Wagner Souza e Silva, rescues this trajectory to propose reflections on how such transformations influenced the artistic and social practices of photography.
