Abstract

This paper addresses the relationships between teaching in Geosciences, development of environmental projects and school citizenship with reference in teacher education. With a focus on building geoscientifi c look at the school, the training emphasizes the development of activities aimed at (re)cognition of place/environment and its problems with use of environmental mapping, aiming at the formation of critical citizens and participating in projects and educational practices and collaborative school-community site for social and environmental sustainability.
