Design Thinking, Libraries – customer service, Bibliographic searchAbstract
The service sector underwent important developmental changes in the last decade. Contemporary life has produced increasingly demanding and participative customers regarding the service creation process. As such, companies turned towards new methodologies or instruments to expand their innovation strategies. Thus, as libraries are organisms that deliver informational services, it becomes opportune to evaluate and analyze their users’ impressions, expectations and needs, as well as to identify the librarians’ experiences, motivations and frustrations. This bibliographic survey, conducted on the Portal de Periódicos Capes, seeks to understand the Design Thinking approach used as an innovation principle and potential tool for redesigning library services, based on articles considered relevant by the number of citations in the literature.
