Abstract

The aim of this essay is to discuss the issue of social exclusion in parallel with the question of the Right lo Life. The author supports lhe thesis that social exclusion is a socially built historical process and that lhe Right to Life is not a value that has effectiveness and concreteness in itself. The conclusion is that the only way of facing exclusion and avoiding its traps consists in an effort of the human race, involving the whole planet, to build a “good world to live in”.
