In this work, we have as general objective to contribute to the writing production teaching at university, particularly with regards to the genre scientific article writing, and as a specific objective to discuss multimodal aspects in the production of scientific articles. To reach these goals, we´ve selected a corpus consisting of Language and Literature field articles, extracted from online scientific journals and anchored the reflection in text studies that have been incorporating or pointing to the need to consider multimodal aspects in the theoretical-analytical approach. The questions that guide the discussion are thus configured as: 1. What is multimodality and how is this notion incorporated into current text studies? 2. Which multimodal aspects stand out in the production of scientific articles and what functions do they assume? 3. What contributions do these multimodal resources offer to the writing production teaching at university? We organize the work in three sections, each corresponding to the questions that guide our reflection and the objectives listedDownloads
