Abstract

This article intends to carry out a reflection on the manifesto gender, understood as one of textual forms most characteristic of modernity. It intends to analyze how the manifesto exceeded the limits of an essentially political theme to embrace literature and the fine arts, becoming an instrument of action and experience of modernist aesthetic. From the relationship between text, artist and audience, the manifesto became the propeller of a new literature, one that mainly constitutes itself as action, gesture and continuous becoming.
