Abstract

Opening Conference of the 7th Jornadas Internacionais de Histórias em Quadrinhos, in August 2023. It deals with the role of manga and pop culture in Japan´´´´' s diplomacy.

  • Akiko Kikuchi, Consulado Geral do Japão em São Paulo

    Vice-cônsul. Responsável pelo Departamento de Assuntos Culturais e de Imprensa do Consulado Geral do Japão em São Paulo, desde maio de 2022. Formada em Letras, com especialização em Literatura Inglesa e Americana na Universidade de Chuo, Japão, e mestrado em Ciências da Comunicação, com especialização em Mídia e Jornalismo, na Universidade Católica de Lisboa, Portugal. Ingressou no Ministério dos Negócios Estrangeiros do Japão em 2009. Atuou na Embaixada do Japão em Portugal, Consulado do Japão em Manaus e Consulado Geral do Japão em Curitiba.
