Résumé

In searching for his own path as a writer, the Irish author George
Moore found Zola to be one of the most important references in his career. The
complex relationship with the French writer was described in “My Impressions of
Zola” (1894), the Brazilian Portuguese translation of which is presented here for the
first time.
