Abstract

The Objective of this paper is to present the debate around the book A Theory of Justice, by the American philosopher John Rawls. Th e article is divided into two parts. In the first one, I expose the general lines of Rawls’ thesis in order to establish the concepts that are analyzed in the second part, in which I reconstruct Harsanyi’s criticism to Rawls’ contractual procedure, specially the Original Position, and I consider the answers and refusals to this criticism
