The author reviews the work by Nelson Rodrigues, Não tenho culpa que a vida seja como ela é, a compendium of 41 stories written as if it were a police chronicle of daily reality in the Rio de Janeiro of the 1950s. The author himself translated the work into Spanish with the title: No tengo la culpa de que la vida sea como es.
