Abstract

An analysis of the work by Esther Gambi, La emigración castellano-leonesa a Brasil, 1946-1962, in which the author studies the causes and characteristics of the emigration of natives from this Spanish Autonomous Community and the ups and downs they experienced in their destinations in Brazil, especially in São Paulo, based on historical research and the oral testimonies of the those involved.
