This study aims to elicit the knowledge of the ancient and rich millenary tradition of singing and reinterpreting the Torah or Hebrew Bible known as Te amim ha-mikra or cantilenas. This liturgical musical phenomenon allowed a certain group of people to structure an organizational system with which they implemented a functional biblical reading sound that later became musical notation that spread throughout the Jewish communities, preserving their particularities as well as the assimilation of the local custom by the Jews, thus externalizing, through music, their origins while still appropriating the tradition in which they passed.
