About the Journal

FOCUS AND SCOPE

Intelligere, Journal of Intellectual History, is a biannual, electronic, trilingual (Portuguese, Spanish, English) scientific journal dedicated to the studies of Intellectual History and the History of Ideas.

Intelligere publishes original articles, interviews, book reviews, research news in progress, translations, and documentary sources relevant to intellectual history.

Manuscripts should be submitted through the electronic submission system. All manuscripts will be evaluated by researchers with recognized expertise in the field. New authors must register on the site before submitting their manuscripts: http://www.periodicos.usp.br/revistaintelligere/user/register.

As an open-access journal, Intelligere, with the support of the University of São Paulo, covers all costs of article processing and publication, with no charges to authors and readers.

PEER REVIEW PROCESS

Texts submitted to Intelligere, Journal of Intellectual History, will be reviewed by referees appointed by the Editorial Board.

Referees will be members of the Editorial Board and the Advisory Board or specialists suggested by the Editorial Board.

Authors whose texts are rejected will receive the reviews with the respective reviewers' identities omitted.

POLICY ON COPYRIGHT, ETHICS AND ANTI-PLAGIARISM

We follow the guidelines of the Commmitee on Publications Ethics  (COPE) regarding ethics, plagiarism, and AI usage. Any questions or complaints should be sent to the journal's contact email for review and response by the Editorial Board. This journal uses Similarity Check Crossref iThenticate.

Periodicity

Intelligere is a biannual publication (July - December).

OPEN ACESS POLICY

This journal provides immediate open access to its content, following the principle that making scientific knowledge freely available to the public supports a greater global democratization of knowledge.
