This article seeks to position the English School in the intermediate path between Realism and Idealism, focusing on the thinking of Hedley Bull and Martin Wight, and to analyze the evolution of the English School after the fall of the Berlin Wall, when new problems were added to the study of international society and international institutions. It is also intended to demonstrate how the English School, founded on regular norms and standards of behavior, is a great influence for the constructivist approach. Faced with these realities, the great starting question arises: why, despite the studies of Hedley Bull and Martin Wight on international society and international institutions, the Escola Inglesa remained, at the time, marginalized compared to the North School American International Relations ?, which gives rise to objectives, some of which have already been mentioned, and working hypotheses, which will be achieved and proven.
