Abstract

This article aims to produce a biographical and filmography synthesis about the filmmaker Sarah Maldoror (1939-). This filmmaker built the basis of her career in France, where she continued directing films, working on television and acting in public space to support immigration, the black community and women. A remarkable feature in her films is the dialogue with literature, among short stories, novels and poetry, and the arts in general.
