The last few decades indicate changes in information consumption and in the institutional trust, including the traditional press and the digital media. During this crisis of communication, we have a new information demand about the covid-19 pandemic. We seek to understand the behavior of Brazilian citizens observing trust in information sources, focusing on the context of the covid-19 pandemic. We identify the socioeconomic characteristics of those who trust on RSO and traditional media and we see how this is related to opinions about the government collected during two similar surveys. It is an individual level analysis, to verify changes and maintenance in the behavior of citizens comparing two surveys of the “Values in Crisis” project (May/2020 and January/21).
