Brasil pós-pandemia. Reconstruindo o capital social e uma cultura política assertiva

The covid-19 pandemic, which has ravaged the country for more than a year has been aggravated by the incumbent government which has minimized its devastating impact, affecting the democratic principles, and producing an ideological polarization in Brazilian society creating a state of exacerbated intolerance. The combination of the pandemic and the growing polarization has taken root and divided the country reducing the civic spaces of citizens political involvement. This article seeks to examine the impact of the pandemic on the construction of negative institutional social capital (government-society) and the type of political culture that will emerge in the future.
