Abstract

The relationships between media and the Judiciary throughout history have never beent linear. The communicating vessels between them bring out the tensions emerging from society in the context of culture and values. As regards legal discourse, that interplay is usually permeated by different legal precepts which put into play the signifiers of truth and justice. From that standpoint, this test seeks to analyse the dialectics between truth and falsehood of some perceptions of history, so as to identify the current state of the art of ethics and transparency by means of a comparative examination focused on the current Brazilian constitutional system.
