What is a constitution? Decisionism as structure in Carl Schmitt
Keywords:
Constitution, Decisionism, State.Abstract
In this paper, we will analyse what Carl Schmitt considers as a Constitution. From this debate, we will determine the decisionist structure of his thought. Actually, the analysis of the Constitution concept is just one of the points that Carl Schmitt emphasizes his decisionism, which is, in fact, the core of Schmitt’s thought and his permanent structure. Schmitt’s discussion about the meaning of the notion of Constitution is an important aspect for this understanding.Downloads
