Abstract

To understand why brazilian old people actthe way they have been acting up to now, we have to be aware of the historical process which has determined brazilian citizenship for the last 50 years. Despite we are now living new democratic times, when the citizenship question is presentin ali human beings relationships, we first need to know what citizenship means and then initiate its collective process of construction. Age is a fact that must not be considered in this case.
