Abstract

Interview with French researcher Ada Ackerman about her research and analysis work in the vast library of Latvian Soviet filmmaker Serguei Mikhailovich Eisenstein. The interview is preceded by a brief contextualization of the researcher's methodological journey in the legendary S. M. Eisenstein Cabinet, which for over fifty years housed the filmmaker's library in the heart of Moscow.

Górki, em Moscou, e mestra em Letras pela Universidade de São Paulo (DLO-FFLCH). Dedica-se à pesquisa da produção artística e teórica de Serguei Eisenstein.     É ensaísta, curadora, artista e docente. Criou e dirige a Kinoruss Edições e Cultura. Em 2007, defendeu tese sobre o cinema de Andrei Tarkóvski (PUC-SP). Realizou dois pós-doutorados, de 2010 a 2015: o primeiro, em Literatura e Cultura Russa (FFLCH/USP), com estágio de pesquisa em Moscou, no Museu de Cinema Russo, e o segundo, em Mídias e Processos Audiovisuais (ECA/USP). Dentre outros livros, é coorganizadora de Panorama Tarkóvski e coautora de Vkhutemas: desenho de uma revolução.
